The work will be scheduled from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. It is suggested that customers draw clean drinking water prior to the start of each day.
As a result of flushing, customers may experience periods of reduced pressure or discolored water. This is not harmful. If water appears discolored, residents should avoid using it until it clears. That will prevent rust and sediment from being drawn into the home’s water system. If rust gets into a home’s hot water tank, the owner should wait until the water clears, then open the faucet at the bottom of the tank to clear the material, which has settled to the bottom. Also, if laundry is discolored by the water, the load should be kept wet and washed again with 4 ozs. of cream of tartar after the water clears. |
