| The Finance Department is responsible for keeping of all accounts and financial records, the assessment and collection of taxes, special assessments and other revenues, the custody and disbursements of Town funds and money, the control over expenditures as provided in Section 707 of the Charter and such other powers and duties as may be required by ordinance or resolution of the Council. Departments under the direction of the Finance Director are: Assessor, Tax Collector, Purchasing, Data Processing, Treasurer, Accounts Payable and Payroll.
