BABYSITTING COURSE
American Red Cross babysitting course designed to train Ages 10 & UP in basic babysitting skills. The class will offer students the necessary tools to become a reliable and safe babysitter. Students will learn basic childcare, safety precautions, child development, appropriate toys and more. Students will receive a handbook with all information needed to serve as a reference. Participants have to meet requirements of the course to receive certification. At the conclusion of the babysitting classes there will be a course on infant/child CPR and First Aid. This class is limited to 10 people, so register early!
**IF YOU CANNOT COMMIT TO ALL THE SCHEDULED CLASSES, THEN YOU WILL NOT BE CERTIFIED!! THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UPS!!

SUMMER FUN IN THE KITCHEN
Hey kids! Get ready for summer fun in our kitchen at the Falls Ave Senior Center. You’ll love learning how to make these delicious goodies in our hands-on cooking class. Children walk away with cooking skills and their own recipes to try at home. Kids will gain confidence using kitchen tools and gadgets. Each child will additionally be creative to customize their own apron. Sign up early so you don’t miss out on the fun because classes often sell out!

THE CERAMIC SHOP

CHILDREN’S PLAY GROUP/MOTHER’S GROUP
This is a program for infants, toddlers and pre Kindergarten children and their moms or dads. Get together once a week with instructor Jackie Powell for 6 weeks for socialization, active and passive games, songs, special events and a snack. **We are very flexible in regards to children’s age.
