When you’re first out of work you may wonder how you will meet your basic expenses, maintain a cash reserve, and provide health coverage for your family. And if the worse case scenario occurs and you’re out of work longer than anticipated, what will happen to your ability to meet your long term goals such as saving for education or retirement?  Will you need to rethink your plans for the future?
