GREENWAY EVENTS

We are always looking for individuals and groups to get involved with the Steele Brook and Naugatuck River Greenways!  Phase one of the Steele Brook Greenway will be completed this summer, and will allow for a 1/4 mile long walk, run, or bike ride along  the brook.  We could use help with hands-on invasive weed clearing and debris pick-up, as well as event planning and promotion and administrative tasks.  Be a part of a motivated, energized group of residents working to make Watertown/Oakville greenways a reality!  Contact Vicki Barnes, volunteer coordinator at ctvic@optonline.net or (203) 707-6967 for further information and to be added to our mailing list.
