These trips are open to residents as well as non-residents and are on a first-come first-served basis.  We can cancel a trip at any time due to lack of enrollment, so register early.  We’ll need the name, the full address (including zip code) and phone number of each person going on the trip.  Please be sure to have this entire information ready at the time of registration.

 

Sunday, January 18, 2015; Disney On Ice –Treasure Trove

Discover endless riches when Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove skates into your town! Get tangled up with Rapunzel & Flynn and enter the worlds of your favorite Disney princesses - Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Tiana, Mulan and the one who started it all, Snow White. Set sail with Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and Captain Hook on an adventure beyond Never Land! Trek the wilds of Africa with Simba, Nala, Pumbaa and Timon as they discover the meaning of the 'Circle of Life.' Don't be late to a date with Alice, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts' Army of Cards. You don't want to miss this show full of Disney treasures to remember. No transportation provided.

Saturday, March 14, 2015; Boston Flower Show & Quincy Market

Come and enjoy the 1st breath of spring! The show will return to Boston under the direction of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, and will be held at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center. You’ll find hundreds of new products, cutting edge designs by professional florists and the region’s top amateur floral arrangers and horticulturalists assembled in a vibrant display. The Flower Show has an always been a kickoff to the spring season. The center will be transformed into a wonderland of flora with stunning exhibits, stimulating scents, soothing sounds and tantalizing texture. Following the show spend time at Quincy Market for a bite to eat and a chance to enjoy the myriad of wonderful shops

Saturday, April 25, 2015; 9/11 Memorial Museum & Little Italy

At long last, the 9/11 Memorial Museum has opened. The museum’s 110,000 square feet is located in the archaeological heart of the World Trade Center site. The Museum: The National September 11 Memorial & Museum is the country's principal institution concerned with exploring the implications of the events of 9/11, documenting the impact of those events and exploring 9/11's continuing significance. Multimedia displays, artifacts and narratives commemorate the lives of each & every victim of both the 2001 & 1993 attacks. The Memorial: The names of every person who died in the terrorist attacks are inscribed in bronze around the twin memorial pools. Your admission includes both the memorial & the museum. Prior to our visit to The Museum we’ll spend time in Little Italy. Shop for wonderful Italian delicacies, cheeses and pastries. Have lunch at one of the delicious eateries. NOTE: There is a moderate amount of walking on the trip.

Tuesday, July 7, 2015; All-You-Can-Eat Lobster & Entertaining Show

All you can eat lobster & entertaining show at the Delany House in Holyoke, MA. Great Lobster, Good fun! Served at your table: Cheese and vegetable platter, shrimp cocktail and salad with bread basket. Buffet Menu: Lobster! Lobster! Lobster! With a variety of salads, pasta, hot entrees and yummy dessert. There will be a fun musical performance by John Timpanelli, popular entertainer and classic performer Broadway to Opera, Nostalgia to Comedy.
