Saturday, October 9, 2010; Berkshire Railroad “The Foliage Express”
Lunch at Dakota Restaurant in Pittsfield ...Resembling a mountain lodge enhanced with fieldstone fireplaces and rich wood paneling, Dakota is the perfect spot for our lunch. All aboard a restored vintage railway coach for a nostalgic, 50 minute narrated ride through the scenic Berkshire Hills, along the Housatonic River from Lenox to Stockbridge.
