You are invited to attend the _____ session of the
Watertown Police Department Citizen Police Academy!
The Citizens Police Academy provides an excellent opportunity for citizens, who live in or own a business in the Town of Watertown to become familiar with the day-to-day operations of the Police Department.
Classes are held at the Watertown Police Department for 8 consecutive weeks. On the 8th week there will be a ceremony where members will be given certificates and a group photo will be taken.
2012 Academy Dates: To be announced. Time for each class is 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. * Members must attend at least 6 of the meetings to graduate.

Introduction to Watertown PD
K9 Demonstration
Crime Prevention
911 Communications/ Meet a Dispatcher
Personal and Home Safety
Identity Theft Prevention / Meet a Detective
Fraud
Traffic Safety
Demonstration on how Radar and Laser speed units work
SWAT Presentation / Equipment Display
