2. Public Participation
Michael Lafferty, 46 Stonehenge Place, Watertown, CT 06795
Mr. Lafferty: I would like to express my support for this project, especially the water and sewer project in the Westgate area and the Grandview area as well. This isnt, from what I understand, this isnt going to cost the Town much at all. Most of it is going to come back against the taxpayers that are being supported by this project. And its long overdue. Most of these systems have been in effect over 30 years and many of them are starting to fail. Id appreciate your support during this project.
Sharon Lanese, 26 Grandview Avenue, Watertown, CT 06795
Ms. Lanese: I certainly hope that this will be put to Referendum as soon as possible. As you all know, we are in a very drought situation in the State of Connecticut and our wells are really going to start feeling it. I saw a well digging truck up on our hill yesterday. Dont know where he was; hope he wasnt near my vein, thats all I can say. Hopefully youll, you know, get this remedied as soon as possible.
Virginia Muni, 32 Grandview Avenue, Watertown, CT 06795
Ms. Muni: Again, just a duplication of everything youve heard. All were asking for is help, and to please get it through on a Referendum as soon as you can. Weve been living with this situation for quite a few years, as I imagine most of you are aware, and we really need the help now. Thank you.
Richard Lanese, 26 Grandview Avenue, Watertown, CT 06795
Mr. Lanese: Im in support of the water on Grandview Avenue. I have been running out of water every Summer practically, and Ive got to buy water just to drink it. Its terrible. Im hoping that we have a Referendum.
Al Mickel, 173 DiNunzio Road, Oakville, CT 06779
Mr. Mickel: I rise in support of this ordinance to raise the money. Im just curious if its on your Agenda tonight and would be voting on it tonight?
Mr. Hebert: Yes.

Ms. Tscheppe: My husband and I are in support of the water and sewer coming; we cant wait for it to come. The sooner the better.
Mr. Hebert: Anyone else wish to speak? Anyone else? No one else?
