8. Action Items.
     a. Consider Appointments to Boards and Commissions.
        The terms of various Boards and Commissions have expired or are expiring.
        Appointments must be made to fill these vacancies.
        1. Library Board of Trustees

      b. Consider Resolution Authorizing Legal Counsel with Respect to the Condemnation
          of Easements for the Bunker Hill Sewer ImprovementsProjects.

          The Watertown Town Council previously approved the condemnation of property
          easements for the Bunker Hill Sewer Improvements Project to be completed by
          Atty. Marianne Dubuque as deemed necessary. Atty Dubuque has a conflict of
          interest with respect to one of the property owners from whom an easement must
          be obtained. This resolution authorizes Atty. Paul Jessell to complete the easements 
          that Atty. Dubuque is unable to represent
.

     c. Discussion Regarding Swift Middle School Expansion Project.

         The Town Council has been requested by the Superintendent of Schools to consider
         authorizing the Public Buildings Committee to proceed with the Development of
         Schematic Designs for the Swift Middle School Expansion
.

     d. Consider Acceptance of Property to be Designated as Open Space - Sunnyview Farms
         Subdivision on Town Line Road South and Guernseytown Road on the Bethlehem/Watertown
         Town Line.

         Pursuant to the Town Zoning Regulations, the Town Council must formally accept any
         open space provided to the Town in the approval process of a subdivision
.

     e. Consider Approval of Job Descriptions/Salary for: 
         1. Town Engineer
         2. Data Processing Coordinator
             Council approval is required for all new or revised job descriptions
.

     f. Consider Authorizing Special Counsel Retainer Agreement for Legal Services in
        Connection with the Enforcement of Zoning Regulations on the Use of Land Located at
        550 Sylvan Lake Road - Cercemaggiore Community Club.

        Town Council authorization is required for the retainage of legal services, not handled by
        the appointed Town Attorney. Planning and Zoning has requested representation in the
        matter of the variance application regarding Cercemaggiore Community Club which is
        currently before the Zoning Board of Appeals and currently being represented by the
        Town Attorney.

    g. Consider Tax Refunds.
        The Town Council is being asked to approve the refunding of the overpayment of
         property taxes.

    h. Consider Transfers.
        The Town Council is being asked to authorize the transfer of departmental funding
         between line items.
