ABOUT THE GOLF COURSE:
Located in beautiful Litchfield County, Crestbrook Park is a 236 acre facility and is Connecticut’s third highest ranked municipal golf course (per Golf Digest, 1998). It was originally a 9-hole private golf club which the Town of Watertown purchased in 1975. In 1980 a second 9-holes were added. It is now an 18-hole golf course with fast sloping greens as well as four sets of tees for all levels of golf. It is complete with a full service Pro Shop and a 5-acre practice facility. The entire facility is self-supporting and is currently operated as an enterprise fund at no expense to Town taxpayers.

GOLF SEASON
The regular season opens approximately April 1st and runs approximately until December 15th, contingent upon course condition and weather, as determined by the Course Superintendent and Golf Professional in concurrence with the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Pre-Season runs from the course opening until May 1st.
Post Season runs from October 1st to the course closing.
During the season the course will open on a day-to-day basis contingent on course condition and weather as determined by the Course Superintendent and Golf Professional.
THE DAILY HOURS OF OPERATION
Mondays: 10:00 a.m. to dusk
Tuesday thru Friday: 7:30 a.m. to dusk
Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 7:00 a.m. to dusk

The Pro-Shop will be open the same hours as the golf course. For daily information as to course conditions, please call (860) 945-5249.
Starting times are given out for weekends and holididays only. Starting times are given out in the pro-shop on THURSDAYS for SATURDAYS and on FRIDAYS for SUNDAYS. Watertown High School team members and coaches of Varsity and Junior Varsity are eligable for free play from April through end of CIAC Golfing season. Tee-off times will be coordinated with the course professsional and team coach. Monday through Friday only.
Each player must report to the Pro-shop to receive guest receipts before teeing off. For matches, coaches will obtain guest receipts for all members of both teams when all players are present and ready to play.
The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) tournament is open to high school students from Connecticut.

Junior Golf is open to any Resident and Non-Resident, ages 10 through 17, male and female. Juniors may play the course when open for play, Monday through Friday as long as they have left the first or tenth tee by 3:00 p.m.
On weekends and holidays, Juniors may play the course after 1:00 p.m., when accompanied by an adult.
Junior golf lessons can be obtained through the golf professional or in the summer months through Watertown Parks and Recreation. Please call 860-945-5249 for more information.
Spikeless golf was approved by the Watertown Park and Recreation Commission effective July 1, 1998.
CADDIES
Crestbrook Park does not normally recognize the use of caddies. In special cases, caddies may be used with the approval of the PGA Professional. Caddies must be at least ten (10) years old. Call (860) 945-5249.
Crestbrook Park (the entire park) is an “Enterprise Fund”.What that means is the maintenance staff, golf pro, starters, rangers, lifeguards, and all seasonal help are paid for by your season tickets and daily green fees.Renovations and maintenance for the restaurant, tennis courts, pool, pavilion, roads, and of course the golf course is also part of this Enterprise Fund.All employee benefits, bonding, plus an “administrative reimbursement” (monies given back to the Town’s General Fund) are included.The entire Park and its expenses are 100% “self sustaining”, paid for by YOU!!This park is not a tax burden on the taxpayers of Watertown/Oakville.
