COURSE RULES

THE ONLY PEOPLE PERMITTED ON THE GOLF COURSE ARE EMPLOYEES AND PLAYERS.  ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN GOLF BAG WITH AT LEAST FOUR (4) GOLF CLUBS, ONE OF WHICH IS A PUTTER, AND HAVE THE PROPER PAYMENT RECEIPT.

In addition to U.S.G.A. rules, each player is required to comply with the following:

Players who have not obtained a receipt in Pro-Shop (ticket holders or daily fee players), and are found on the golf course will be suspended up to 30 days.

Must tee off between tee markers, no more than two (2) club lengths behind markers.

Players who are abusive, disruptive, or fail to abide by any and all course or park rules are subject to a thirty (30) day suspension.

No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the course or parking lot except that which is purchased at the concession stand.  There is a limit of one alcoholic beverage that can be purchased at the snack bar area and must be consumed in the same area.  Individuals must be 21 years of age and proof must be presented.

Players must play course in order of holes (1 thru 9, and/or 10 thru 18)

Golf carts must be kept behind white line and on cart paths where available.

All players must report to the starter before going on the course.  The starter has full control of both 1st and 10th tee, and may make up foursomes as needed.

Players must replace divots, smooth sand traps, and repair ball marks on greens.

Play shots only when players ahead are out of range.  SHOUT the warning “FORE” if you are in danger of hitting anyone.

Allow faster players to play through.  If there is an open fairway and hole in front of you, and if a group is waiting behind you, you should let them play through.

All players must wear golf shoes or sneakers.  No ripple, athletic type (i.e., soccer or hard rubber baseball) boots, or work shoes allowed on course.

All players must follow dress code.  Shirts must be worn at all times and they must have sleeves, no cut-offs, tank tops, halters, bathing suits, or short-shorts.

Golf pro will have the authority to refuse sale of daily ticket or season ticket play if he feels Rules # 11 and # 12 are not followed.

While already on course, if Rules # 11 or # 12 are not followed, player may be suspended for up to 30 days.

Practice on the course or greens is prohibited.

Players looking for lost balls must drop another ball after 5 minutes and/or allow the next group to play through.

Warnings and immediate suspensions may be given to any course rule violator by the Director of Recreation, Golf Professional and/or Superintendent.

Suspended golfer may apply for hearing with Parks and Recreation Commission in writing within (5) days after receipt of formal suspension notice.  The hearing will be held at the next commission meeting and a majority vote of those Commissioners making quorum will decide on the appeal.

Due to insurance regulations, player must be eighteen (18) years of age to operate a golf cart, maximum two (2) golf bags per cart.

NOTE:  The above rules and their enforcement are intended to help safeguard the golf course as well as to make Crestbrook Park a safe, fair, and pleasurable place to play golf.  Players are reminded that Crestbrook is a PUBLIC GOLF COURSE  and should be enjoyed by all, regardless of personal groups, age, sex, and playing ability.
