Carnival 2007 News – New Location this Year!

Dates: Tuesday, May 1st – Friday May 4th from 6 – 10 p.m. and Saturday, May 5th from 5 – 10 p.m. at the Siemon Realty Parking Lot, 27 Siemon Company Drive, Watertown

Because our school expansion will be in full swing, the Siemon Company has graciously allowed us to use the Siemon Realty Parking lot for this year’s annual parish & school carnival. Plans are set so please pray for sunny and warm weather! Please consider helping us out with donations for our food booth (see the list of what’s needed in the bulletin) or baking a baked good for our delicious baked goods booth. Bins will be located at the entrances of the church. Your generous donations last year were greatly appreciated and kept expenses down. Tufano Amusements has arranged for additional Wrist Band evenings this year where you can ride all night for $15.00. There will be 3 Wrist Band nights - Wednesday & Thursday from 6-10 p.m. and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.! Bring your Wednesday or Thursday wrist band back to the ticket booth on Saturday and get a $3.00 rebate (only1 wrist band per person is eligible for a rebate). Family sheets will also be available at the ticket booth (25 tickets for $22.00). Tickets purchased individually at the Carnival are $1.00 per ticket. Please note due to the increased Wrist Band nights, there are no Pre-Sale ticket sales as in the past. Parking is available in designated Siemon Realty lots off of Echo Lake Road & Westbury Park Drive.

Sign-ups for workers from our parish will take place on the weekend of 4/28 & 4/29 on tables in the back of the church. Because this year’s carnival is much more spread out, we can especially use the extra help! Remember, carnival workers must be 18 years of age or older. We encourage our parish family to come join us for Carnival 2007 fun and sign up for a shift or two!

As always we thank those of you who unselfishly help out year after year. Your efforts continue to make this event a great parish, school, and community event! We couldn’t make it happen without the support of our parents, parishioners, business community and many friends. All proceeds raised go towards the operating budget of the school. God Bless and hope to see you at Carnival 2007! The St. Mary Magdalen School Carnival Committee.
