The Town of Watertown Department of Public Works would like to announce that the chip sealing program for 2007 is going to begin on Monday, August 22, 2007 and is expected to proceed until Tuesday, August 28, 2006.(weather permitting)

Chip Sealing is scheduled to be applied to the following roads:

Concord Road Mystic Lane Lexington Street

Revere Street Aunt Olive Road Sand Bank Road

Raspberry Lane Northgate Road Marc Lane

Gregory Lane Beers Road Reynolds Street

Academy Hill Artillery Road (Middlebury Road to cul-de-sac)

Georgetown Drive

And portions of the following streets:

Lake Winnemaug Road Farmdale Road Barnes Road

Residents are asked to refrain from parking on the street until after the chip sealing operation is completed.

Motorists should seek alternate routes and expect delays in these areas.
