What happened to the movie theatre prices?  It seems like every time you turn around the price goes up.  Taking your kids out to a movie might well cause you to dip into the children's college savings these days!  The alternative, sitting around the house and watching a video may sound a bit unexciting at first but consider joining us on a special family movie night at Veterans Memorial Park.

Make a note on your calendars to see a spectacular movie on Friday, August 20, 2004.  The movie will start promptly at 8:00 pm.  It is recommended that you arrive by 7:45 pm so that everyone will be able to get settled before the movie starts.  Bring your own snacks/juice and money for the ice cream man.  Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the park.  We request that all parents and kids bring their pillows, blankets, and lawn chairs.  In case of inclement weather call the Watertown Recreation InfoLine before leaving your house.  The movie will be cancelled due to inclement weather.
