SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

 

March 7, 2005 – 7:00 P.M= .

 

 

The legal voters of the Town of Watertown and those entitled to vote in Town Meeting are hereby WARNED AND NOTIFIED of a Special Town Meeting to be held on Monday, March 7, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the John Trumbull Media Center, 779 Buckingham S= treet, Oakville CT to consider authorizing the appropriation of $77,610 from the O= pen Space Fund to offset the cost of the purchase of the Rickevicius Property if the purchase is approved at Referendum.

I hereby certify that on F= ebruary 25, 2005 I left a duplicate copy of the attached WARNING AND NOTICE of a Special Town Meeting of the Town of Watertown, Connecticut, to be held on M= arch 7, 2005  w= ith Virginia Stewart, Town Clerk.

 

I further certify that on = February 28, 2005 I  caused a copy of said Warning and Notice to be published in the WATERBURY REPUBLIC= AN  Newspaper, which has a substantial circulation in said Town.

 

I further certify that on = February 25, 2005 I caused to be set upon the signpost nearest the office of the Town Clerk and all other places with signposts designated by the Town, a written copy of said Warning and Notice signed by me as Town Manager.

 

I further certify that all= the above acts were done at least five (5) days before the holding of the Speci= al Town Meeting on  = March 7, 2005.
