an Agreement with Milone and MacBroom for Professional Services Regarding
Watertown Parks Site Acquisition and Conceptual Plan Development on behalf =

the Town of
&= nbsp; Discussion: Mr. Valenti asked if this was for property we already own? No. He asked if they had hourly rates in case we need to cancel contract?
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Ms. Robson replied that there are hourly rates but they are typically used for = work above and beyond the contract.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Ms. Adams asked for clarification of selection of consultant?
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Ms. Robson responded that the process started with staff review of what would be needed for an initial study, then it was discuss= ed with several Parks & Recreation Commission members. Staff developed an RFP and made recommendations for 3 firms to be interviewed by the Parks and Recreation Commission. The Parks and Recreation Commission then selected the firm.

= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Kane asked how this report will be presented?
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Ms. Robson said that really had not been fully discussed, but it could be done = in whatever manner the Town Council chose.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Valenti stated there has to be a commitment to maintaining fields, public a= reas, to know up front.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Kane replied the reason for condition of fields is over-use, not necessarily poor maintenance.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Fisher stated this is something people want; we should move now.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Wick stated he would like to see an analysis of all possible sites, not just two.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Discussion ensued about the need to move quickly on an analysis of the two sites that = the Town knows are available.
