            <= /span>The Town Council of the Town of Watertown will= hold public hearings at Gordon C. Swift Middle School Auditorium  250 Colonial Street in Oakville, Connecticut, on Monday, October 17, 20= 05, at  6:30 p.m. to consider the following proposed ordinances: 

 

“AN ORDINANCE INCRE= ASING BY $6,713,919 THE $27,055,000 APPROPRIATION AND BOND, NOTE AND TEMPORARY NOTE AUTHORIZATION APPROVED AT REFERENDUM HELD MAY 4, 2004 FOR RENOVATION OF AND ADDITIONS TO GORDON C. SWIFT MIDDLE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE AN APPROXIMATELY 1,000 STUDENT CAPACITY SCHOOL TO SERVE GRADES SIX THROUGH EIGHT (AN ANTICIPATED INCREASE IN THE PROJECT COST NET OF STATE GRANTS OF APPROXIMATELY $2,819,00= 0)”

 

“AN ORDINANCE INCRE= ASING BY $626,672 THE $5,420,000 APPROPRIATION AND BOND, NOTE AND TEMPORARY NOTE AUTHORIZATION APPROVED AT REFERENDUM HELD NOVEMBER 25, 2003 FOR RENOVATION = AND EXPANSION OF FIRE HOUSE STATION #1 LOCATED AT 935 MAIN STREET IN WATERTOWN”

 

Copies of the proposed or= dinances are on file with the Town Clerk of the Town of Watertown.  Eligible voters and affected perso= ns will be heard at the public hearings concerning the proposed ordinances.
