he
house this morning and he mentioned to my wife that we need to send registe=
red
letters to all the neighbors. Well I’ve been picking my mail out of my
next door neighbor’s mailboxes for the last 3 weeks. They’ve got
some new people down at the post office. So Mr. Rafey told my wife that the
neighbors were contacted and told to mail back from the post office. Well I=
got
signed letters from all of my neighbors acknowledging what we want to do on=
the
house. I also would like to mention that I am a pharmacist and I also go fi=
ned
one year because y license went to someone else’s house on Slade Terr=
ace
instead of

Sarandrea: Yes Pleasant View is=
the
same thing.

Cagno: My mail goes all over town. I’ve got a cou=
ple
neighbors on the other streets that are nice enough to every once in a while
bring me my mail. That’s why you don’t…What I am asking f=
or a
variance on is that I have a 30 x 30 flat top garage. It’s a bear in =
the
winter time, I have to shovel it off every snow storm, it has almost no pit=
ch
to it. It presents a whole bunch of problems because it’s a cement bl=
ock
garage. I finally got

a
hold of Keith Hogan, he’s going to be our contractor. I also want to =
put
a tool room toward the back of the house. I used to build houses. I had a
welding business for a while and an excavating business. I’ve got a
garage that I’ve never been able to park a car in because I have tools
everywhere. So what I want to do is 8n the back of my garage kick it back o=
ut
like 12 feet and put a tool r=
oom so
I can get all the tools out of my garage, all my woodworking stuff, so I can
actually park 2 or 3 cars in my garage. While we were going to do that we
decide that we needed more room in the house. I have 2 grown boys that just
moved back into the house. We have a tiny house and it’s running out =
of
room. My wife brings home paperwork almost every night. So we decide while =
we
did the tool room to put an extra bedroom in the house. I’ve contacted
all the neighbors and so far no one has any complaints. So that’s wha=
t we
wanted to do. I didn’t know until today that they required to mail us
stuff. So I went around to all the neighbors today and had them sign someth=
ing.
Mr. =
Rafey: The only question that I have is if this varian=
ce is
granted and you want to build an addition, what do you want to do with that
existing shed?
Mr. =
Cagno: I can move that.
Mr. =
Rafey: The shed where it is now is conforming to the z=
oning
regulations. Once you put the addition then the distance between the princi=
pal
building and the shed will be less than 10 feet. It then it becomes part of=
the
building. Then you need 30 feet from the rear property line and 10 feet from
the side property line. By adding this addition you will make that shed
non-conforming. There is enough room for you to push it back if you’d
like. I spoke to your wife today about it.

Cagno: Yes I can do that. Its 5 feet now form the prop=
erty
line because I had the property surveyed. There is a copy of the map. I have
all the marks and all of the posts in the ground. The shed is a little more=
than
5 feet away form that side property line. I have more than enough room for =
it.
Mr. =
Rafey: It has to be minimum 10 feet from the addition =
and 5
feet from the rear line.
Mr. = Cagno: If I can’t I’ll just take it down.<= o:p>
