&nb= sp; = M= r. Khericha: The stream is u= p, the deck is in place, and they are putting shear (inaudible) on the deck. They're waiting for the reinforcin= g to come. In the existing building on the (inaudible) the existing, the block wall is up, the contractor has put all = the metal studs, where the Chief's offices were, on the second floor, the main floor of the toilets, all of the metal stub framing is done. The ductwork guy has started putti= ng in all the ductwork for the main floor and the basement, and I was there this afternoon also, there was a skeleton crew and I asked a question, and his comment was because the weather is so high, so the crews are coming at 6:00 a.m. and leaving at 2:00 p.m. but the crews are there, but they are coming earlier and leaving earlier because of the hot weather.

= ; &n= bsp; = ; General trades - there has been no changes with that status. Again we're carrying the gym door = repair that was something that we've been carrying. Case work issues has been in negotiation, you'll see that item change next meeting and be significantly reduced. Locker room curtains, we're still looking for Gar San to provide at additional cost. There's no change in that status.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Under roofing, there's no changes under those two items.&n= bsp; Skylight flashing, we had proceeded under time and material and just= as a reminder, we've done 2/3 of them, there are still 2 left, until they comp= lete them I don't want to close that item out with anything. Drywall/Plaster, again we have the= go ahead to proceed on that on a time and material basis, however they haven't finished any of that work so we can't issue a (inaudible) for those two.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Moving down, flooring, what you'll see here is cleaning of the existing floor. I actually have the number incorrectly stated as I'm looking at this, it should be a credit of $5,000 to us. The reason here is the owner has d= ecided they would prefer cleaning the floor, washing and waxing, versus having the contractor do it. The contrac= tor will use a low grade floor finish, probably he won't put as thick a coat as= the owner typically likes to put down himself, plus they all tend to want to do= it themselves to make sure it's done to their standard. Painting and wall covering - there= is no change to that status. Plumbing, no change with that item. Floor Fire Protection, you'll noti= ce that we issued the change orders per our last meeting, all those numbers we= re adjusted through meetings with C.E.S. and the contractor and K.B.A. Moving down under electrical, you'= ll see a significant changes there as far as items dropped, eliminated. We have several items that we had = shown at the last meeting, however we were in discussions with that contractor, he has since dropped several of those items, and we've negotiated the remaining items, so you'll see the status of the change orders to date. Take note the telephone system is = still under discussion. Our transfo= rmer relocation, we were given notice to proceed at the $14483, pending CES revi= ew. I just got that review, it came out to $13900 and change so that will change by about $500.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Under items for approval, we have no items we're looking for approval on. Project commentary is next and in general the main addition, steel is going up at this point in time, schedul= ed for completion at the end of the month.&nb= sp; They'll probably have about a week even after that buttoning up ting= s, however main erection will be done, decking will be down, and we'll be able= to work in that location. We are= going to be starting underground mechanical electrical work. We've actually start= ed that fire tube, steel starting, and now that the steel finish is up we'll be able to go underneath that area as far as going back to that and completing that.

Casework installation is complete = other than the adjustment of all the doors, hardware, that type of ting. The ceiling gr= ades is installed, they have to go ahead and set the pad, that sort of stuff. The floors should be going in on M= onday, (inaudible) relatively quickly.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Under Home Economics, basically the same conditions as the graphic arts as far as= the finishes in general. Flooring= is going in now, once that's complete, the windows go in on that side on Monday. Glass however is not scheduled until weeks from now they're still waiting for that, however they= 'll stick plywood in in the meantime. The framework for the glass will be going in on Monday. And Masonry is complete around tho= se (inaudible).
&nb= sp; = M= r. LeBlanc: On this telephone system you have $28,000 and $44,000, the same numbers (inaduible0.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Vetro: The $44,000 is what, what K.B.A. h= ad agreed with as far as a cost, the additional $28,000 is the backup that I received from the contractor, in addition to, and the contractor is looking= for $110,000 (inaudible) didn’t' agree with that, they provided us backup= to the $78,000 (inaudible) and K.B.A. has agreed to $44,000 at this point. We've been meeting with that contr= actor on that particular issue for a couple of months at least.

= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Vetro: The project is on schedule. (Inaudible) project schedule was i= ssued about 2 months ago, we're still following those.

&nb= sp; = M= r. Vetro: The new auxiliary = gym demolition actually is just about complete right now, in fact today they completed that. They'll start digging out foundations, etc. tomorrow. They plan on pouring slab (inaudib= le) in that area and that is a wall bearing structure, not steel, so the walls will start after that.

= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Porter: Joe asked me to, inside of that IMT= L (inaudible) compaction testing. (Inaudibl= e) the Town has a separate contract to do the work for that. There was a question brought up ab= out the compaction material, it was acceptable, it was done (inaudible) it was tested (inaudible) and it does (inaudible) 95 plus compact6ion requirement = so we should not have a problem with the driveway and the reason for the testi= ng was Supreme Industry is doing the work, a contractor brought in by the town= , so we wanted to make sure the compaction was correct so we get through paving = we don't have a drop.
&nb= sp; = M= r. Vetro: The contractor, Su= preme Industries can claim that by their paving over the top of ERA's work, and if the asphalt cracks, of course they can turn around and say well ERA prepared the sub grade (inaudible). Ca= n they still do that? Yes, they'll s= till always be able to do that because testing wasn't done all the way up through this item, this trench, and the trench is very, very deep, I believe in the neighborhood of 8, 10 deep down depending on where you are and that sort of thing. WE only went down the = top 3 feet, and we asked ERA and they were very cooperative as a contractor, they were not obligated to do so, but they went back and they took hundred foot increments, went down 3 feet, opened up the test pot opening so that the te= sting lab could test that soil at that location and we did that every 100 feet al= ong their entire run. That indica= tes because what we were going to do is disturb the top 17 inches, 18 inches, p= ut in the gravel and the sub base for the roadway, now it tests the material directly under that area, and that indicates to Supreme that from that point down, it should meet this 95.1% and now they are able to build up the top.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> Later on they can claim maybe right around the pipe wasn't properly compacted and you could have soil shifting, it's very doubtful, it gives you added insurance, and the cost for doing th= at testing is minimal. The only = real cost involved was the proctor and a civic analysis by IMTL. The time that he was on site, we a= lready had him on site for the project, the IMTL test agent, so there was no (inau= dible).
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Porter: And another plus for it, is that t= hey're going to put the binder coat down and do the finish coat later so there wil= l be a chance for the materials (inaudible), rather than putting the binder coat down now and then in 2 weeks the timeframe and put the finish coat on, we're going to wait.

Supreme was agreeable to doing tha= t, they're trying to hope to keep their contract so they're holding the price = (inaudible).
= ; &n= bsp; 9. = Discussion and Possible Vote on Field Irrigation (information to be provided at meetin= g by K.B.A.
&nb= sp; = M= r. Porter: Todd LoFrese emai= led me, we need to, the field at Swift that's going to be done very soon and the Board, the school system would like to put in irrigation at the field. There is money in the budget to do= it. They want to do the irrigation, the electrical lines that run to the pump increments, timing devices, etc., and there's an estimated budget of about $75,000 to do this. They are asking us to approve it t= onight subject to the Board of Education approval at their meeting Monday night, J= uly 24th and that would be irrigation for the field, the electrical work associ= ated with it, the timers, the pumps. They need to mov= e on it now and get the work done before the field is done.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Beliveau: They re working= on the field right now and they want to do it while the field is being worked = on, rather than coming back later on and have an added expense.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Vetro: Prior to the roads= being paved (inaudible) which again we're talking about putting binder course (in= audible) early August we have to get it done.

The shop drawings stated 032 pre-finished aluminum (inaudible). Replacement gutters installed are = 04 pre-finished with a reinforced outside (inaudible) and the whole (inaudible) for the gut= ter system with the attachment for the structure. That's what H.B. Fishman designed, that's what is on the building presently, and if you look at the building r= oof line, you can see how it's attached down, that's the way it probably should have been attached initially, along with the attached material. This answers your questions.

Mr. Porter: In your packet there were 7 firms = that attended the pre-bid for the structural analysis, load bearing for the walls and also structure. We receiv= ed only back, there was Joseph Calabrese, Fuss & O'Neill, and Dewbury.
Mr. LeBlanc: $5,000 to $20,000 something is qui= te a spread. If you read the fine = print, they're doing quite a bit. I have a problem with some of them are not speci= fic what they want the Town to do as far as opening things up and providing assistance.
Mr. Dzioba: (Inaudible.)
Mr. Chipko: But there's just going to (inaudibl= e) and what we need to do is compare= what went out in the RFP to what they're saving they're providing, and if the To= wn is responsible and in all cases usually the towns have to provide a mason to open up things or the testing lab is a separate contract, but I think that's all got to be clear, whoever we select here, (inaudible) we have to make su= re that everybody is on the same page, because I feel the same, we've got a wi= de range here. I mean Fuss & O'Neill addressed what we needed outside their scope, (inaudible) agrees wi= th the RFP but that's why their fee might be what it is, versus these other 2 firms seem like they didn't address it at all.
Mr. LeBlanc: They put limitations on it also, i= f you read it. What are we talking = bout here/
Mr. Porter: The Town originally through DPW ag= reed to supply a mason to open a wall up wherever it was needed and obviously at= tach it back again, and the (inaudible which provides the aerial device (inaudib= le) was on the premises.
Mr. Chipko: Right, cause they don't usually ha= ve the . . . .

Mr. Chipko: I do this type of work, so based on= whoever we pick, you would have a mason take out the bricks, and then they have to = go to the lab that the Town hires and be inspected or checked for compression strength, freeze damage, all kinds of different things, so you have to get a lab involved in this whole process, or in their report they're going to say you're going to need have this happen later so it's not even something you = pay, it's "x"{ amount of dollars (inaudible) so that's what we have to make sure that all of this is spelled out very carefully before we give this thing (inaudible).
Mr. LeBlanc: I was thinking the same thing, the= y said they would tell us what has to be done, we know = what has to be done.
Mr. Porter: I think what we should do is okay, probably should bring in the 2 firms and let them explain and answer our qu= estions. The one for $5,000, I think they're wasting our time.
Mr. Dzioba: that almost reads like a drive by.=
Mr. Chipko: You're right, I get a little nervo= us when somebody comes in with that low a fee, cause I get a feeling that they aren't going to really do a good job investigating.
Mr. Propter: The other two are close.
Mr. Chipko: Out of my own experience, I've wor= ked with Calabrese before and I've worked with Fuss & O'Neill, and also the roof inspector was Bruce Darling who we had as a third opinion on this roof. He is also known in the= state and well respected, however Joe Calabrese (inaudible).
Mr. LeBlanc: I'll go along with the Chairman's suggestion to have these guys explain what they're going to do.
