2 of them showed up with their bids and we opened the bids today.

It shows the= items that were discussed with the Fire Department, and the Fire Department agree= d to go along with them, there are 16 items.&nb= sp; So there is a total credit on both of them, and as you can see the LaRosa one is considerably higher than Gar San. Along with that at the same time K= .B.A. asked them to come back with what they thought there might be some addition= al savings from each of the contractors, and the second piece of information we passed out tonight is the additional items. And you'll notice they both quoted= some, some are different from each other. I'd like tonight, with the Committee's approval, have K.B.A. meet wi= th LaRosa to come up with possibly some additional ones to bring the project within budget. We're very clo= se to the budget.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Khericha: Right now we're $573,000 (inaudibl= e) we have $27,000 (inaudible).
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Porter: We need to authorize K.B.A. to= do that.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Kuegler: Did the Fire Department review the= se voluntary value engineering items?

Porter: The process, they= were opened today, and the Fire Department is going to review it, come back to K.B.A. and say yes we can live with this, this, or this, and then K.B.A. wi= ll meet with LaRosa to come up with the final numbers so we have a total of credits. This all happened today. Chief, do you have any= comments?
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Chief Black: No, I'll just echo what Bob said. We're going to get toge= ther with K.B.A. and (inaudible) go over those and discuss them and come up with the numbers (inaudible). I don't = see where there will be any problems.
= ; &n= bsp; = ; Mr. Kuegler: The only items that I would note i= s that Gar San is (inaudible) some of their value engineering items, LaRosa is not looking at.

the Town Council, and the Public Buildings Committee, come to a resolution =

it and then make a recommendation to the Town Council. The Board has to discuss the
programmatic side of it and see if there's anything they can change within =
the

construction of it would be the P.B.C., but the programmatic side has to be
looked at initially and is in the process of being done now. As you're well aware there's an ov=
erage,
so we're trying to get that down as much as we can without destroying the

radical change in the programmatic side, then obviously we're going to have=

If it doesn't go that way, then we have to change the scope. =
