= Mr. Bucciarelli, gave a presentation on the inner workings of Southbury's Econo= mic Development Commission. A len= gthy discussion ensued.

A.&nbs= p; Visiting Local Businesses with Chamber of Commerce
= Mr. McGrail reported Lisa Taccardi has an interest of meeting with local busine= ss together with Norman Marcoux. He will call Ms. Taccardi and set a plan in motion. Mr. Marcoux was still bothered by = the fact that this Commission sent out letters a few years ago to all of the businesses, and not one responded.
B.&nbs= p; Update from Chairmen Meeting
= Mr. McGrail reported he missed this meeting and apologized to Ms. Robson, who stated it was a good meeting and they would do it again.

= Mr. McGrail stated this will be discussed at a future time.
D.&nbs= p; Business Inquiry/Lead Follow UP Procedure
= Mr. McGrail asked if this Commission could be made aware of phone calls for information about this Town. = Ms. Robson replied she could do that for some, but sometimes people don't want = to go public right away. Mr. McG= rail wanted to send a follow up letter. A discussion ensued regarding how this could be accomplished. Mr. Velezis volunteered to be the = person who could attend a meeting with any potential new businesses.

&= nbsp; &nbs= p; Mr. Marcoux reported Bentley gave an interesting presentation.
&= nbsp; B. = Review Bid Ordinance
&= nbsp; &nbs= p; Mr. McGrail stated this item was tabled earlier.
&= nbsp; C. Fire District Zoning
&= nbsp; &nbs= p; Mr. McGrail reported he obtained some information, and wanted to send a note to= the Fire District to see if they were interested in talking to the Town regardi= ng zoning, having just one zone. Mr. Marcoux felt that would never happen. A lengthy discussion ensued.
&= nbsp; D. Signage for Industrial Area
&= nbsp; &nbs= p; Mr. McGrail reported they should hold off on this because the monies that were allocated for this project may be diverted to the survey instead.
&= nbsp; E. = STP Area
&= nbsp; &nbs= p; This was already discussed earlier. Mr. Marcoux again found someone lost in that area.

&= nbsp; &nbs= p; Mr. McGrail asked Ms. Robson if she researched the agreement that was signed wi= th Drubner; she replied she had forgotten to do that.
