4.&nb= sp;        Swift Middle School Traffic Issues

 

 &= nbsp;          Mr. Talcott gave an overview of the project and the traffic issues.

 

 &= nbsp;          Mr. Bubaris presented the results of the traffic study.

 

 &= nbsp;          Mr. Cavanaugh talked about the amount and types of accidents in that area.

 

 &= nbsp;          Ms. Barton reviewed the parking issues.

 

 &= nbsp;          A question and answer session ensued.

            MOTION:       (Mr. Pawlak, sec. Mr. Stewart) to Accept the recommendation of the traffic study.  Requirement that the contents of this Motion be a condition of Planning and Zoning Special Permi= t.  That we convert the Colonial Street/Davis Street inters= ection to a four (4) way stop with 30" stop signs to be included on the Davis Street stop -with painted stop bars on the road.  In addition, temporary flashers for the first thirty (30) days - stop signs to be supported by reflective posts and stop ahead signs placed on th= e Davis Street approach.
