1. &nbs= p; Call meeting to order.

2.= I make a motion to approve re= solution approving the Bond Ordinance for the Renovation and Additions to Gordon C. Swift Middle School to Provide an Approximately 1,000 Student Capacity School to S= erve Grades Six through Eight.

3. I make a motion to approve the resolution approving the Bond Ordinance for the design and implementation of the Turkey Brook flood control improvements.

4. I make a motion to approve the resolution approving the Bond Ordinance for the replacement of deteriorated roof and related decking and accessorie= s, including without limitation gutters, flashing and ventilation, at Polk Elementary Sch= ool, and related work.

5. Consider Resolution Setting a Referendum date, time, place and ballot for the Ordina= nces Approved under Items 9 2-4 above to be held on May 4, 2004 at the regular polling pla= ces from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m at that the ballot= shall read as follows:

1. = “SHALL THE TOWN OF WATERTOWN APPROPRIATE $27,055,000 FOR RENOVATION OF AND ADDITIONS TO GOR= DON C. SWIFT MIDDLE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE AN APPROXIMATELY 1,000 STUDENT CAPACITY SCHO= OL TO SERVE GRADES SIX THROUGH EIGHT, AND AUT= HORIZE THE ISSUE OF BONDS OR NOTES IN THE SAME AMOUNT TO FINANCE SUCH PORTION OF S= AID APPROPRIATION AS IS NOT DEFRAYED FROM GRANTS?”

2. = “SHALL THE TOWN OF WATERTOWN APPROPRIATE $1,165,000 FOR REPLACEMENT OF DETERIORATED ROOF AND RELATED DECKING AND ACCESSORIES AT POLK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZE THE ISSUE OF BONDS OR NOTES AND TEMPORARY NOTE= S TO FINANCE SUCH PORTION OF SAID APPROPRIATION AS IS NOT DEFRAYED FROM GRANTS?”

3. = “SHALL THE TOWN OF WATERTOWN INCREASE BY $1,530,000 THE $3,275,000 APPROPRIATION AND BOND, NOTE AND TEMPORARY NOTE AUTHORIZATION APPROVED AT REFERENDUM HELD APRIL 25, 2000 = FOR THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TURKEY BROOK FLOOD CONTROL IMPROVEMENTS?”

6. I make a motion to approve the appropriation from the General Fund in the amo= unt of $4,532 for the printing and mailing of the explanatory text flyer for Sw= ift Middle School Project. The appropriation will be as follows:

$2,152 – into line item 010-50327-040-0000 – Central Postage for posta= ge for the mailing and $2,379 - into line item 010-50330-00= 2-0000 – Printing and Binding for the printing and, sorting and labor for the mailing.
