Elderly and Totally Disabled Homeowners


NEW APPLICANTS, PLEASE CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT

February 1st – May 15th

If you or your spouse are at least 65 years of age, or totally disabled through social security and your income is not above the limits listed below, you will qualify for a tax break.

State Option Benefit:
Single Person: $40,300 income limit
Married Couple: $49,100 income limit

Local Option Benefit:
Single/Married: $45,000 income limit

What you need to apply:

  • Income Tax Return from the prior year (if filed)
  • 1099 Social Security Statements for yourself and your spouse
  • All 1099 statements from all income (if you do not file)
  • Proof of rental income
  • Lottery winnings
